Navitrading Limited is the culmination of Gerrard Spray's 23 years in cruise ship retail both onboard and shoreside.
After ten years of sailing, he cofounded Mariner Duty Free Limited; a company dedicated to sourcing unique, region-specific products for the Harding Retail fleet worldwide and then sold onboard in a trunk show format.
Mariner Duty Free became the leading Russian goods specialist in the cruise industry with sales of over $25 million from more than 500 successful trunk shows conducted in the Baltic sea.
To allow the founders more creative freedom, Mariner Duty Free ceased operations in late 2015 to be replaced by two independent companies.
Navitrading Limited will continue to provide mainly jewellery trunk shows worldwide for Harding Retail and Disney Cruise Line and will maintain half of the former Mariner Baltic trunk show portfolio too. It will also offer consultancy, training, wholesaling, product development, marketing and logistical support to its clients and trunk show vendors.
